Dr. Andy Park is a board-certified chiropractic physician and a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society.
Growing up, he was always fascinated by movement, and his passion drew him to many different hobbies over the years, including gymnastics, kickboxing, breakdancing, rock climbing, and weightlifting. Applying his personal passion for movement to his professional life, Dr. Park studied exercise science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, worked as a personal trainer, and finally pursued a career as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine at the National University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Park specializes in perinatal care (Webster Certified) as well being one of 11 Certified DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) Practitioners in Illinois. This makes him particularly qualified in rehabilitating everything from sports injuries to run of the mill low back muscle strains. He also utilizes a number of soft tissue therapies in his care such as myofascial release, kinesiology taping (Rocktape), and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (similar to Graston).

Sarah Davelaar, our in house massage therapist (contractor) graduated from Soma Institute for Clinical Massage as a second-career move. At Soma, she developed a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and how to apply clinical reasoning to her massage work.
Her expertise includes myofascial release, trigger point therapy, PNF stretching techniques, and regional tissue release. She has also studied with the Upledger Institute for Craniosacral Massage (CST1 and CST2 completed).
Her first career was as a hospice board-certified chaplain. A core element of chaplaincy is the art of listening well. She weaves these skills into her approach as a massage therapist.
She moved into massage work to help people move out of places of pain and into physical wellness. When we can breathe and live well in our bodies, the world is a better place!
