Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a safe, evidence-based technique used for muscle pain, tightness, and dysfunction. During treatment, a thin, solid needle is inserted into the affected tight or overactive muscle, targeting muscle knots, otherwise known as “trigger points,” to release tension, improve blood flow, and restore normal movement. A brief muscle twitch is a normal response to this technique.

Many patients will notice immediate benefits, including reduced stiffness, improved flexibility, and faster recovery. Dry needling is effective for chronic muscle pain, sports injuries, postural imbalances, and movement-related pain or dysfunction.

For best results, dry needling is combined with corrective exercises, manual therapy, and functional movement training. By addressing the underlying cause of muscle dysfunction, dry needling can help patients regain mobility, strength, and overall daily comfort."
